OVERVIEW OF ARCANEOUTPOST

In this game, you play as a powerful mage who uses arcane magic to protect an empty, dangerous land. So your goal is to build arcane outposts, defend against waves of enemies, and use the Arcane Core to cleanse the entire region. In the game mixes tower defense and strategy elements, where you must decide how to balance building production and defense to face different challenges. On the battlefield, you control guardians who use magical powers to fight the enemies. Each guardian has 4 skills that can be switched to perform different actions. The game has two phases a preparation phase where you make decisions and build, and a combat phase where you fight enemies. This way you can focus on building without worrying about being attacked while you’re still setting up.

During Early Access (EA), the game will have 3 maps, 3 heroes, 5 types of turrets and barracks, and 24 upgrade options. So there will also be dozens of enemies and bosses with unique abilities. In the developers plan to add more content, such as extra maps, heroes, enemies, and bosses, in the official release. The game was made by a small indie team, and while the developers hope to make the game great, they have had to use some pre-made models and sounds due to limited resources.
