In the game, you’ll compete in three unique leagues to become the City Champion. As you play you can build up Clutch, which is used for powerful moves called Critical Hits. You can control your teammates directly or quickly call plays to surprise your opponents. You can also impress the crowd by taking part in shooting contests to earn Hoop Coins which you can spend at the Hooptown General Store to improve your player.

As you progress you can unlock new abilities like cool basketball moves such as hook shots. So you can also find powerful items in dumpsters around Hooptown. As you get better you can improve your player’s skills making them tougher and faster. You can even unlock different player positions each with special strengths and weaknesses. Between seasons, you can use sponsor bucks to upgrade your player and get even better for the next big game.
