Abnormal1999 is a series of independent games make by QZQ Studio. In the games are based on sci fi ideas like quantum mechanics and the multiverse. This series also has parts that include exploration horror puzzle solving or reasoning.

The main character is a girl named SU and the story is about her and her family. For some reason, SU can travel freely through the fourth dimension. She is trying to understand what happened to her or how she can return home.

While doing this she uses her ability to visit different times and places in parallel universes. Along the way she meets many people and encounters different paths that can lead to new realities. The Abnormal1999 series is updated regularly, with one episode coming out each month. The helps tell SU’s story and her adventures.

This game, The Compass and the Sand, is the sixth episode of the first season of the Abnormal1999 series. This has super tough mystery puzzles. The first five episodes are called Within the Obscurity, Apartment of Death, SU, Hyperspace, and Sector49. In this series you can start from any episode and each one will give you a unique experience.
